1. Select the right people
2. Manage and Co-ordinate Subordinates
3. Plan, manage and co-ordinate production and progress improvement
4. Ensure production targets are met
5. Stop production when found out of control or specification
6. Maintain quality – monitor, record and reduce scrap and re-work
7. Signing off of 1st off samples on setup and inspection reports
8. Report department performance to Management
9. Ensure sufficient resources and all equipment is ready and in good working order
10. Uphold company values, vision, policies, processes, procedures and systems
11. Discipline, coach and counsel employees appropriately
12. Ensure production staff are trained and skilled
13. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
