FRANCHISING MANAGER (QSR and Fast-Food Industry)

SUMMARY:
We are assisting our client, a well-established organisation within the QSR and Fast-Food industry, in identifying an experienced Franchising Manager to support their franchise growth strategy.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting, evaluating, and onboarding high-quality franchisees who align with the organisation’s growth objectives and contribute to the continued expansion of its brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees through sourcing, referrals, marketing campaigns and franchise networks
• Identify and engage with potential franchise partners aligned with the organisation’s brand and growth strategy
• Assess and qualify applicants based on financial capacity, business experience, leadership capability and operational suitability
• Present the franchise opportunity and guide approved candidates through the application, approval and agreement process
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Development, Legal, Finance, Training and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process
• Identify expansion opportunities with existing high-performing franchisees
• Maintain accurate reporting and governance across the franchise pipeline

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Property, Entrepreneurship or a related field
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in franchising, franchise development, business development or multi-site retail growth
• Proven experience recruiting, assessing and onboarding franchisees
• Experience within the QSR, Fast Food, Retail or franchise environment will be advantageous
• Strong understanding of franchise business models, franchise agreements and commercial investment principles
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills
