FINANCIAL PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR – CBD, Cape Town

6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (To start immediately!)

R25 000 – R35 000 Per Month Negotiable on Qualification and years of relevant experience

Our client, a Global Consulting firm is in need of financially focused project administrator to assist their Transport consulting division.

Key responsibilities

• ­Responsible for reviewing payments[1] and required verification checks.
• Performing reconciliations after each bulk payment run.
• Responsible for ensuring bulk payments are processed on time.
• Communication with operators regarding account related problems.
• Communication with system service providers.
• Maintaining an accurate and complete audit file for each payment processed.
• Responsible for resolving audit queries relating to payments processed.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate plus a relevant NQF level 7 tertiary qualification in accounting, auditing or similar.
• Preference will be given to candidates that have Financial Accounting III or Auditing III.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft applications) with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in local or provincial government finances and expenditure with trainee audit experience being a preference
• Strong command of English and one other official Western Cape language.
• Working experience on BAS system used by Provincial Government would be highly advantageous!
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
• No criminal record
