SUMMARY:
Kirkwood area – Eastern Cape: Our client is looking for a Finance and Admin Manager to join the team. Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Financial/HR/Admin environment
Cost and Management Accounting Experience
Relevant Qualification in Finance or Accounting (B-Tech Cost & Management Accounting/BCom Accounting/ Project Management)
Proficiency in Sage Pastel Accounting, Payroll
Technically very sound in terms of Accounting Principles
Strong Tax and VAT experience and understanding
Proven Computer Literacy (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Be able to compile reports in Excel
Have good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Work well under pressure
Able to respect Company Confidentiality
Have Own reliable transport
Knowledge of Paltrack System is advantageous

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Debtors
Creditors
Preparing the Budget for the next financial year
Financials including Cash Books and all Recons on General Ledger Accounts
Assisting Auditors with any queries regarding the financials
Year Ends
Payments (All including Wages Etc.)
Salaries
Unemployment Fund
Insurance for Company
General Office duties
SARS (VAT returns, EMP501, IRP5 Recons on Easy File)
Monthly Financial feedback
Diesel Recons
Packing Cost for New Season Stock on Paltrack Packhouse Paperwork
Check entries on Paltrack Runs (Check and Email to Producers)
Invoicing of Contract Packing as well as Packaging Material
Pay-outs to Producers (Juice and Local Sales)
Payments Received (Juice, Local and Export Fruit)
Seasonal Reports and Summaries
Complying with Legislation for the following and completing of forms for Statistics South Africa and Employment Equity
