F&B SUPERVISOR (BANQUETING & RESTAURANT)
POSITION INFO:
SALARY: MARKET RELATED WITH MEDICAL AID/PROVIDENT FUND
Our client in the Hospitality industry is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor.
Responsibilities encompass day-to-day activity management, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive team working environment in all Food and beverage areas of our luxury hotel.
Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to
• Effectively handle guest complaints
• Assist with rostering, taking into consideration forecast, wage cost, staff requests, etc.
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate for the next service period, adjusting the roster where necessary
• Ensure beverage cost is maintained to budget
• Report any shortages in equipment to the manager
• Conduct staff training including induction, product knowledge
• Counsel staff if not performing to the Outlet''s standards
• Attend and actively participate in necessary meetings
• Be able to take charge of the outlet/area in the absence of the Manager
• Daily stock ordering
• Flexibility to work in all F&B areas
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field.
• Supervisory/managerial role in F&B department, preferably in a four-star hotel.
• Experience in rostering, staff scheduling, and managing staffing levels.
• Ability to manage beverage costs within budget.
• Conducting staff training, including induction and product knowledge.
• Capable of taking charge in the absence of the Manager, making decisions, and leading a team.
• Effective communication in meetings and with the team.
• Willingness to work in all F&B areas.
• Understanding of the food and beverage industry, trends, and best practices.
