FARM MANAGER – AVOCADO & LITCHI

SUMMARY:

Catandica Area, Manica Province – Mozambique: Our client is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and honest Farm Manager – Avocado & Litchi to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in previous avocado or litchi or fruit farm management
• Must have Orchard experience
• Computer literate
• Must be well-organised with great leadership qualities
• Strong communication skills
• Maintenance orientated
• Valid passport
• Valid drivers license

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Staff and Wages
  Roll call daily and entered in timebook. 
     Staff Wage Payments Monthly

 

• General Farm Management
  Fertilizer and Chemical applications, ordering and records.
      Irrigation and maintenance of.
      Sourcing and records of all stocks.
      Management of all employees.
      Repairs & Maintenance of roads, water, fences, and buildings.
      Delivery and collections of spares and supplies.
      Harvest and delivery of fruit.

 

• Stocks
  Fertilizers & chemicals stock sheets.
       Livestock stock sheets.
       Fuel records.

                Cement & building records.
                Workshop & tool inventory.
                Rain records.
 

• Global Gap
  To ensure the Farm operates within all the Global gap requirement guidelines.
      To prepare and necessary documentation and implement all GG protocols on farm.
       To assist with requirements for annual audits for GG license.
