SUMMARY:
An Outbound Sales Rep position has opened up with my client in manufacturing to be based in the Western Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

EXPERIENCE AND DUTIES:
  • Min 3 yrs exp sales rep (Only sales orientated candidates will be considered)
    • Cold calling
    • Scheduling own appointments
    • Negotiate pricing with customers
    • Strong ability to close deals
    • Maintain good customer relations
    • Great communication skills
  • Presentable and professional
  • Must be passionate and self-driven
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Well spoken English and additional languages preferable
  • Experience with Food & Industrial Manufacturing & Production environment
  • Reliable own vehicle
    • Must be prepared to travel long distances
  • Customer Maintenance
    • Assist with notification of price increases to customers, general comms including company closure during holidays
    • Ensure customer queries are resolved
    • Be prepared to do trials with customers
    • Keep detailed information for customers
    • Assist with customer accounts where required
    • Keep H/O informed regarding quality issues and complaints
  • Sales & H/O:
    • Timeous submission of weekly sales reports
    • Must attend H/O meetings when required
    • Assist with customer marketing and PR exercises
    • Attend sales training when required
    • Must be prepared assist with ad hoc duties work in relation to sales
    • Salary:
      1. R 7 500 basic
      2. R 1 000 cell allowance 
      3. R 6 000 car maintenance allowance
      4. Petrol Card 
       
      Commission structure:
      1. Existing customers - 1%
      2. New customers - 2%
