Our client a wholesaler of and retailer in Granite, Quartz is looking for a sale person.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An opportunity has arisen in a successful growing business in the Verulam area, for an experienced Sales Rep

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining relationships in order to promote sales.
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets by utilising opportunities whilst minimising risks.
  • Conducting Customer site visits in order to achieve the objectives set within the territory.
  • Ensuring that sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as the Company’s policies.
  • Meeting the Customers’ needs as well as resolving all queries and concerns that arise.
  • Implementing Key Account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Managing, liaising and delivering on technical queries with regards to existing and new products for Customers.
  • Monitoring market developments to identify and assess potential new Customers and opportunities.
  • Building up market and competition knowledge by analysing market trends.
  • Implementing volumes and pricing objectives agreed with Key Account Customers.
  • Effectively implementing price increases and maintaining monthly or quarterly price lists.
  • Generate new leads and convert leads into new opportunities in the pipeline (Volumes & Value)
  • Maximise retention; uncover sales opportunities for all our service offerings.
  • Responsible for driving client satisfaction
  • Create new opportunities through repeat business from current clients as a result of excellent service delivery.
  • Develop open and effective channels of communication with clients.
  • Encourage revenue growth by introducing clients to additional services.
  • Become the point of contact for clients to establish a strong business relationship
  • Take ownership of clients’ needs by passionately advocating the client requirement, whilst keeping sight of the need to increase revenue and improve margins.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualification in related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Valid drivers license and own car

 

Required Competencies:

  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Experience managing and directing a sales team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Ability to lead a sales team.
  • Must be a passionate person.

 

 Working Hours- Monday to Friday (07:30-16:30)
