Join an established South African manufacturer and supplier operating within the fasteners and industrial components sector. The business supplies quality products to customers across technical and industrial markets and prides itself on strong customer relationships, service excellence and reliable solutions. This opportunity offers an experienced salesperson the chance to grow business while developing long-term customer partnerships.

You will drive new business development while managing and growing existing customer accounts through regular client visits. Responsibilities include building a strong sales pipeline, securing new customers, following up quotations and outstanding orders, negotiating pricing, monitoring competitor activity and identifying new product opportunities. You will work closely with internal sales, production and warehouse teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric essential, with a Sales or Technical qualification advantageous.
Proven External Sales experience within the fasteners, bolts and nuts, engineering components or closely related industrial sector.
Strong new business development skills with demonstrated ability to prospect, open new accounts and achieve sales targets.
Experience managing existing customer relationships, quotations, pricing, sales pipelines, budgets and customer visits.
Valid driver’s licence with good Excel, Word and CRM/ERP system knowledge, such as Syspro, Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar.
