POSITION INFO:
A well-established distributor specialising in quality tools, safety equipment, hardware, adhesives, and tapes, supplying extensively to the retail, wholesale, and hardware sectors.

We are seeking a driven External Sales Representative to manage and grow a dedicated territory in KwaZulu-Natal. This role focuses purely on B2B sales, servicing existing accounts and expanding our client base across retail and wholesale networks.

Key responsibilities:

Manage and service an existing client book of hardware stores, wholesalers, and retailers across KwaZulu-Natal.
Proactively prospect and bring on new business clients within the region.
Plan, organise, and manage your own structured call cycles to ensure optimal territory coverage.
Travel to the Johannesburg head office for initial product and company training.
Assist with the annual stock take.
Support team members,, embracing a collaborative team-player environment.

Requirements:

Proven external sales experience, ideally within the hardware, tools, or a similar allied industry.
Sound, in-depth knowledge of tools and general hardware products.
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
Willingness and ability to travel to Johannesburg for training.

Salary:
R21,000 CTC (including a fuel and car allowance) + R3,000 fuel allowance + commission.
