SUMMARY:
External Sales Rep KZN Pinetown
The function of the Sales Representative, is to provide direct support to the Internal Sales person and Regional Manager,
in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the Branch is able to meet its growth sales targets on a monthly basis.

Minimum Education and Experience

A minimum matric level education
A technical qualification and previous Parts sales experience in mining or construction field - advantageous
Sound working knowledge and understanding of undercarriage components, diesel engines
Sound working knowledge of ground engaging tools

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Support Branch sales team
Develop new sales daily to support Branch Sales targets/strategies
Meet sales targets/strategies
Customer calling - existing and prospective customers
Customers’ enquiries, quotation requests
Create quotations/ tenders
Follow up on quotations on daily
Liaise with Management, buyers, distribution and suppliers re customers
Meet and exceed personal and Branch sales targets as per set budget
Do Critical Performance Evaluations system as scheduled by Management
Use Embrace system accurately and timeously
Reports and feedback weekly/monthly basis or as required
Ensure customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion
Perform administration duties
Provide recommendations regarding improvement of customer sales and retention of their business
Identify and procure new/used parts and components for potential “nonstock” customer sales
Perform operational duties as instructed by Management
