SUMMARY:
Junior External Sales Rep needed in the Logistics Industry situated in Pretoria Silverton
Salary: R20 000 (including car allowance and fuel)

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 2- 3 Years experience (junior position) 
• Logistics background in international shipping and estimations
• Reside in Pretoria preferably or surroundings
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in international shipping
• Proven track record in new business development
• Strong understanding of shipping costs and estimations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Aggressive new client acquisition
• Prepare accurate international shipping estimates
• Calculate competitive freight costings
• Handle all pre-award client interactions and negotiations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Regular client visits and relationship building
• Proactive follow-up on quotations
• Meet and exceed new business targets
• Convert prospects into active clients
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities
• Experience in freight cost calculations
• Understanding of shipping terms and Incoterms
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
