Our client, a reputable player in the fire suppression industry, is seeking a highly experienced External Sales Representative to join their team based in Boksburg, on the East Rand of Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fire suppression systems, particularly within the mining sector, and a proven track record in external sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector.

• Promote and sell mobile and fixed fire suppression systems to both existing and prospective clients.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

• Conduct site visits and client meetings, understanding technical requirements and offering tailored solutions.

• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.

• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, service, admin) to ensure client satisfaction.

• Keep up to date with industry developments, competitor activity, and new technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years external sales experience in the fire suppression industry (mobile and fixed systems essential).

• Proven sales background within the mining industry is non-negotiable.

• Strong technical knowledge of fire suppression systems.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites.
