SUMMARY:
External Sales Executive

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven External Sales Executive to join their Durban-based Business Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, growing existing customer accounts, and building strong relationships within the IT and ICT industry. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding targets and engaging with both technical and executive-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
Re-engage dormant accounts and expand the customer base.
Manage and grow existing client relationships.
Upsell products and solutions to existing customers.
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and market feedback.
Collaborate with internal sales, product, and accounts teams.
Stay informed of industry trends, technologies, and competitor activity.
Attend customer, company, and industry events as required

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12).
Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years'' B2B IT/ICT sales experience.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience engaging with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
Valid driver''s licence and own reliable vehicle.
Willingness to travel extensively within KwaZulu-Natal (approximately 70% travel)

Advantageous Qualifications

Networking or wireless certifications such as MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Cambium, or CompTIA Network+.
