SUMMARY:
Our client a Renewable Energy company based in Durban is looking for an experienced External Sales Consultant for their Durban branch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Marketing and New Business Development of services in renewable energy
  • Generate sales pipeline and closure of projects
  • Draft contract agreements
  • Driving sales through cold calling on new customers and managing the existing customer base
  • Compiling quotations & updating management on ongoing negotiations
  • Updating CRM system daily to reflect accurate information
  • Pricing negotiations and administration to keep in-line with margin requirements
  • Reviewing and analyse sales reports
  • Compile opposition activity reports  
  • Conduct regular industry surveys to ascertain customer needs
  • Update knowledge of industry market sector trends and peaks
  • Responsible for sales administration
  • Conducting technical demonstrations of products
  • Maintaining current business relationships and creating new ones
  • Visiting customers regularly to generate new business

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in external Sales (B2B)
  • Preferably with experience in selling technically based solutions selling
  • Min. Matric with a tertiary qualific. an advantage
  • Must have own reliable transport
