SUMMARY:
A Leading Paper Merchant Company based in Johannesburg/Heriotdale is currently seeking an Export Sales Executive for Africa to maintain, service, manage and sell into Africa.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must be fresh out of the job market or currently employed
Strong prospecting, presenting and closing skills – Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales.
It would be an advantage if the candidate has sales experience in the Wholesale or Retail industries
Extremely beneficial if the candidate has experience in building brand awareness
It would be beneficial if the candidate has experience selling over the borders in terms of knowledge around border documents, costing for exports, ETA’s for across border deliveries etc.
It would be beneficial if the candidate could speak an African language
Well –presented
Strong communication skills and should be well versed when dealing with different cultures
Strong negotiating skills
Self-managed
Must be able to handle pressure
Must be able to take ownership and accountability for their position
Strong time management skills
Strong strategy and planning skills
Must be willing to travel extensively through Africa
Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license
Must have a valid passport
