SUMMARY:

An established manufacturer of agrochemicals is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator to prepare all documentation for export according to SARS regulations and to process all relevant documents, including invoices, purchase orders, stock sheets etc. to ensure export procedures are executed promptly and in compliance with company policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a tertiary qualification in Logistics, Procurement, Operations and/or Supply Chain
Minimum of 3 years Exports experience to a variety of African and international countries will be required
Experience in the agricultural chemical industry or similar is advantageous
Must have strong mathematical calculation skills
Must be computer literate in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) and MS Outlook and a working knowledge of Syspro.
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license and have own reliable transport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Processing pro-forma invoices and order requests.
Generation of stock and non-stock purchase orders.
Checking availability of stock within the company and with suppliers.
Preparing stock production requisitions.
Expediting production orders.
Communicating with clients on status of orders.
Requesting transport quotes and arranging insurance cover.
Understanding of Foreign Exchange Contracts (FEC) and purchasing thereof.
Preparing and finalising all relevant export documentation in compliance with SARS regulations.
Organising logistics and pallet planning for all modes of transport (land, air, sea).
Overseeing the planning and packing of containers.
Reviewing and updating all allocated export procedures.
Keeping abreast on legal and regulatory issues relating to Exports.
Maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance thereof.
Understanding and appreciating the importance of customer satisfaction and responding to this accordingly.
Solving problems systematically.
Complying with all safety regulations as per company policy in areas of responsibility.
Compiling Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and preparing for Management review.
Adhering to all internal control policies as directed by Management.
Undertaking any legal ad hoc tasks for which the incumbent is competent as directed by Management.
Conducting monthly stock takes and reconciliations.
Investigating customer complaints so as to ensure customer centricity and advise process to be followed.
Conforming to relevant SHEQ rules and regulations as per company policy.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
