Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proficient in financial processes, and capable of managing the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. We require someone who can start ASAP, allowing for a smooth handover and training period with our current bookkeeper. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage debits and credits
• Oversee payroll processing
• Handle general bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Submit SARS EMP201 returns
• Process VAT201 submissions
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and compliance
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software
