Expeditor / Buyer 
Location: Kempton Park
Salary : R22 000 - R26 000 CTC Per month 

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Accounting, or a related field
• Previous experience in buying, expediting, logistics coordination, international supply chain, or procurement
• Experience dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarders will be advantageous
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong computer literacy and experience working with ERP systems

• Manage international purchase orders from placement through to delivery
• Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure orders are confirmed, available and shipped on time
• Monitor and maintain accurate shipment information, including delivery dates and shipment status
• Liaise with Freight Forwarders regarding collections, documentation, freight costs and shipment progress
• Identify and manage surplus orders, stock-outs and potential supply delays
• Obtain freight estimates and prepare landed costings for imported products
• Maintain accurate supplier and shipment information on the ERP system
• Monitor supplier and Freight Forwarder performance and address recurring delays or service issues
• Assist with supplier negotiations, sourcing and identifying alternative suppliers where required
• Communicate proactively with the COMOPS Team regarding shipment delays or revised delivery dates that may impact monthly revenue
