Salary: R50 000

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is a passionate culinary professional with strong leadership skills, creativity, and a commitment to delivering outstanding food and memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the culinary team.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food production.
• Create and maintain innovative, high-quality menus.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Good stock controls and stock rotation
• Manage food costs, inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor kitchen budgets and operational expenses.
• Responsible for all food orders, storerooms and fridge and deep freezes
• Collaborate with management to develop culinary concepts and special events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or senior culinary leader.
• At least 5+ years relevant experience
• Professional culinary qualification preferred.
• Be aware of special dietary needs 
• Correct chemicals and sufficient cleaning materials to be in stock at all times
• Strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques and food trends.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage food costs and kitchen budgets.
• High standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must adhere to World Class Hospitality and Service Standards
• Honest, have good integrity, proactive and drive 
• A passion for creating fabulous food
• Own vehichle is required
