Fixed-term contract for a period of six (6) months, subject to operational requirements and performance.
Location: Northern Suburbs – applications must reside locally
Office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Our Client is a Property Maintenance company based in the Northern Suburbs. They provide general maintenance services to residential and commercial clients and operate in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Position Overview
Thet are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations within strict turnaround times, supporting front-office operations when required, and assisting with site inspections.
This role requires the ability to work under pressure, use initiative, and act at all times in the best interests of the company.
Key Responsibilities
The Estimator’s primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Estimating & Quotations
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations within 48 hours of receiving requests
- Assess maintenance requirements and pricing based on scope, materials, and labour
- Ensure quotations align with company pricing structures and standards
Site Inspections- Conduct site inspections when required to assess work scope
- Compile necessary information for accurate estimating
- Front Office & Administrative Support
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally
- Take and relay accurate messages
- Maintain an accurate key register at all times
General Duties
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Use initiative while adhering to company procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt
Requirements & Skills
- Previous estimating experience in a property maintenance or construction environment (advantageous)
- General maintenance knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and think on one’s feet
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Computer literacy (email, basic spreadsheets, Pastel)
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
