Estimating Manager

POSITION INFO:

An exciting permanent position is currently available at a glass and aluminium company. This position will be based in Centurion.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• Management experience of an estimating department 
• Will be managing a team of 3 employees, thus must have experience with HR & IR
• Will conduct performance reviews on the employees
• Constantly follow up on projects, ensuring that the communication with all parties is taking place
• Extensive knowledge in curtain walling, sliding, and tacking door systems, spider fittings and shop fronts
• Candidate must have sound knowledge in the glass and aluminium field with a minimum of 4 Years sound knowledge in the related Industry
• Draughtsman background
• Work accurately and under pressure in a team environment
• Analyse drawings and other documentation
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services
• Consult with clients, vendors, architects, and engineers to prepare estimates

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in Bizman, Starfront and AutoCAD essential
• Minimum of 4 years Draughting experience
• Minimum of 4 years AutoCAD experience
• Relevant qualification
