Estates Support Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

This role includes collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including, but not limited to, the school administration, teachers, facilities and logistics teams.  This individual would provide support to the Estates Manager with various forms of administrative support, support housekeeping and stock control.

Duties include:

• General administration for the Estate Manager
• First line management function of a large team of cleaning and grounds staff
• Manage the Estates department email 
• Manage keys for school
• Stock control which includes compiling inventory lists and checking stock on a regular basis
• Managing budgets and ordering chemicals / cleaning products
• Venue bookings

Qualifications / experience:

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Relevant diploma / certificate
• Strong supervisory experience and first line management functioning
• Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Fluent in Zulu (Speak and understand)
