SUMMARY:
Warehouse environment in the NDT industry for everyday operations. Fast-paced, deadline-driven position. 5-yrs. in NDT Equipment buying are not negotiable.

POSITION INFO:

WE NEED SOMEONE WITH:

Grade 12 qualification with a diploma in Purchasing or equivalent.
Least of 5 years’ exp. in the Non-destructive testing industry
3 Years’ experience in costing
Must be a numbers person with years of experience
SAP B1 and CRM
Customer Service driven
Code 8 driver’s license

KEY DUTIES CONSIST OF:

Purchase orders /quotations /departmental requisitions
Analyse quotes and make recommendations
Follow-up delivery dates
Ensure accuracy of documentation through the entire processes
Adhere to safety regulations
Project support to procurement administration
Ensure BBBEE compliance and adherence concerning suppliers
Negotiate terms and conditions (price, quality, delivery, payment terms, etc)
Liaise with R&D for first part approval
Follow up (supplies. Logistics, freight forwarders, etc)
Establish, set, maintain, and update material standards (exchange rates, raw material trends, etc)
Conduct supplier audits (logistics, maintenance, quality systems etc)
Housekeeping
Preparation and submission of departmental reports to assist manager
