Enrolled Nurse

Requirements & Skills:

• Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse (annual proof of registration required)
• Previous experience in healthcare and/or elderly care will be advantageous
• Physically and emotionally fit to work in a high-care environment
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and/or English
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and professional approach to patient care
• Ability to remain calm and act appropriately under pressure or in emergency situations
• Neat, professional, and courteous demeanour
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with care plans and nursing procedures
• Assist residents with daily healthcare needs while maintaining dignity and comfort
• Observe, monitor, and report changes in residents’ conditions to the Registered Nurse
• Supervise and support Caregivers and Nursing Assistants
• Administer basic nursing care and medication as delegated
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control, and safety standards
• Deliver compassionate support to residents and their families
