Employee Relations - Lead Assistant Manager

SUMMARY:
Our BPO client, based in Cape Town, is looking to employ a suitably qualified Employee Relations Assistant Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary HR qualification
• 3 - 5 years + relevant work experience responsible for Business HR / Employee Relations outcomes, working with Government departments.
•   Should have at least 3 years of experience in driving HR strategy, CCMA procedures and company representation. 
• Execution to achieve targeted levels, 
• Experience in compiling relevant ER actions to address challenges in Operations.  
• Willing to work shifts to 8pm
• People management and leadership skills

Duties / KPI''s

• Timeous closure an all ER cases, grievances and complaints up to Management level.  All cases above C level to be handed to EC committee.
• Coaching and training session on discipline related training modules for 100% participation of leaders
• 20% top talent coaching and training support for future skills, assisting HRBP’s within their business areas
• Closure of all ER cases within the given timelines
• Timeous closure and distribution of weekly and monthly reports to all stakeholders
• 100% closure on all compliance actions, communication to staff on policy and process updates
• Implementation on engagement framework with the necessary governance (minutes of meetings)
• Engagement with staff (Participation in townhalls, engagement sessions, one on ones
• Behaviour and discipline analysis as part of quarterly report and actions to business areas/HRBP’s to ensure any positive change
• Achieving a Customer satisfaction score of 80%+ (internal) based on communication, closure of projects in given timelines and achieving full compliance
