Qualifications / Requirements:

Matric
Payroll Administration Diploma
Minimum of 5 years experience in life insurance, retirement fund and medical aid administration
Extensive experience in managing all employee benefits
Must have experience using People SAGE 300 Payroll and WSS
Advanced Excel skills
Strong administration experience
Able to communicate verbally and in writing with employees at all levels
Able to work under pressure and prioritize work commitments
Team player and deadline driven
Strong data analysis skills

Key Performance Areas:

Administer and manage the day to day function
Updating and reconciliation of contribution payments
Process withdrawals from the retirement funds and medical aid for resignations, retirements, death and disability
Attend to queries – both written and telephonic
Presenting to staff on request whenever administration presentation are required
Assist HR in the facilitation of the induction process for employee benefits and advise employees of their benefit options and plans
Facilitate the application / removal of all members and their dependents
Facilitate in the induction process for retirement funding and medical aid
Assist with staff queries
Administration of employee wellness programme
Processing of temporary and permanent disability claims
Maintenance and updating of WSS
