JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIRIMENTS

N4 Electrical Engineering qualification, Ideally a N6.
Trade Tested Electrician with PLC, Siemens & Robotic experience
5 years’ experience within a high production demand automotive manufacturing plant.
Computer literacy, problem solving skills, teamwork and good communication skills
Willing to work rotating shifts and flexible hours, including overtime when required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, repair and maintain plant equipment through the provision of electrical services in accordance with applicable legislative and Company standards
Inform Maintenance Team leader in advance of material required to perform tasks
Instruct assistant personnel in proper use of all equipment and give clear instructions
Ensure that all plant equipment is maintained in good order and that documentation is completed timeously and accurately
Inform the Maintenance Team leader timeously of any problems that must be resolved
Perform any reasonable task relating to general maintenance
Comply with internal maintenance strategy.
