SUMMARY:

Maintenance & Breakdowns: Perform routine preventative maintenance and swiftly diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns on processing lines, packaging equipment, and abattoir machinery.

PLC & Automation: Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and variable speed drives

System Upgrades: Install and test new electrical wiring, distribution boards, low-tension (LT) networks, and control panels.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, industrial electrical regulations, and plant startup/shutdown procedures

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications: Qualified Electrician with a recognized Trade Test (Red Seal equivalent), N4 Electrical Engineering qualification.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing or processing environment, with prior exposure to poultry processing equipment or refrigeration/ammonia systems preferred.

Skills: Strong fault-finding abilities, proficiency with technical schematics, and basic computer literacy.

Work Conditions: Willingness to work shifts, overtime, standby duties, and weekends
