SUMMARY:
Our Client within the Minerals Mining Industry is seeking two Electricians.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Matric/N4-N6 Electrical Engineering
Relevant Trade Qualification
Minimum 5 years' experience in plant environment
Experience in chrome wash plants/processing plants (highly advantageous)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintenance and fault finding on wash plant electrical systems
Working on slurry pumps, dewatering pumps, and motor control systems
Installation and maintenance of VSDs/VFDs, MCCs and control panels
Fault finding and maintenance on PLC and SCADA-controlled systems
Electrical maintenance on:
- Hydrocyclones
- Spirals and magnetic separators
- Thickeners and filter presses
Working with instrumentation (flow meters, level sensors, density meters)
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, P&IDs and schematics
Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance
Ensuring compliance with mine safety standards and LOTO procedures

Applicants with chrome wash plant/beneficiation plant experience and exposure to slurry systems, DMS circuits, hydrocyclones, and plant equipment will be given preference.
