Requirements:

Red Seal Installation Electrician (Section 13 or 26D) – Essential
Wireman’s License (Registered with Dept. of Employment and Labour) – Essential
National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
3–5 years’ experience in commercial, industrial and residential electrical work
Strong knowledge of SANS 10142-1 and South African electrical regulations
Proficient with testing instruments (multimeter, insulation tester, loop tester)
Advantage: Solar PV installation knowledge and software

Key Duties:

Install, maintain and commission electrical systems, wiring and DB boards
Issue and sign Certificates of Compliance (CoCs)
Perform inspections, testing and fault-finding under pressure
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Ensure compliance with OHS Act and company safety protocols
Liaise with clients and supervisors to ensure successful project delivery
