POSITION INFO:

Electrical/electronic Internal Sales

Airport Industria R15 000

Leading suppliers of Professional Cable Management, supplying products for cabling, tools, test equipment, fastening, fixing, identifying, and protecting cables and their connecting components seeks an Internal Sales Clerk.

You will be responsible for the selling of products which includes but is not limited to the following; Test Instruments, Tools, Network Products, Renewable Energy Products, Rail Products, and Telecommunications products. You will be responsible for Assisting customers through telephonic and electronic communication (this includes online market communication as well). Technical assistance to customers through Telephonic, face-to-face, and or electronic media and communication.  Working closely with and assisting External Sales representatives to close sales deals.  Doing regular quote follow-ups with customers with the aim of closing quotes and securing deals with customers

Suggested Minimum Education, Training, and Skills Requirements:

Matric or equivalent with 3-5 years Internal Sales Experience in a similar industry.

Electrical / electronic trade (advantageous).

N3 / N6 Electrical / Electronic Qualifications (advantageous).

Core Competencies:

Above-average Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer / Chrome, etc.).

Sound knowledge of Internal Sales functions and procedures.

Excellent Communication Skills (English and Afrikaans – Verbal and Written)

Self-motivated and have excellent organizational and administrative skills.

Customer Service Orientated Mind-set.

Above-average numeric abilities.

Able to multi-task and have excellent Time-management Skills.

Be a “Team Player” and willing to Learn and Improve.

A high standard level of accuracy is required when working according to procedures.

Problem Solving Skills is essential

Entrepreneurial Skills is essential

Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and complaints.

Ability to work well under pressure effectively and efficiently

Additional Requirements:

Overtime work may be required from time to time.

Must be willing and available to attend after-hour customer functions and events.

Own transport essential

Assisting with company stock counts as and when required.

Must be willing to go beyond the call of duty.

Attend monthly General Sales Meetings after hours.

Attend weekly morning briefings before hours.

Attend monthly Sales Product Training before hours.
