SUMMARY:

Electrical Supervisor – Industrial & Mining Projects (Cape Town with Travel)
Are you a hands-on Electrical Supervisor ready to take charge of high-impact projects and lead teams in demanding environments? This is your opportunity to step into a dynamic role where no two days are the same, working across challenging industrial and mining sites while driving excellence in delivery, safety, and performance.
Join a fast-paced installation services environment where your leadership and technical expertise will shape successful project execution from start to finish. You’ll initially be involved in exciting E-House builds at Cape Town Harbour before moving onto diverse remote projects.

POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and supervise electrical installation teams on-site
Ensure all work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and timelines
Coordinate site activities across contractors and stakeholders
Plan daily and weekly schedules, managing materials, tools, and equipment
Interface directly with clients, providing updates and attending site meetings
Drive SHEQ compliance and maintain a strong safety culture
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure quality standards with minimal rework
Manage subcontractors and oversee productivity and performance
Support technical aspects including MV & LV installations, BOQs, and scope definition

What We’re Looking For

4+ years’ experience in electrical engineering or construction
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
Experience within industrial, construction, or mining environments
Proven ability to work on remote sites
Electrical Trade Test or Electrical Diploma
Registered or willing to register as an Installation Electrician
Strong understanding of MV & LV systems and installations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and contracts
Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
