Exciting opportunity for ED Manager who is passionate about uplifting communities.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is an independent solar power producer operating in over 15 international markets. They have a team of over 100 specialists delivering affordable, rapidly deployable and sustainable clean energy worldwide.

They are currently looking for an Economic Development Manager who is passionate about identifying and designing community projects that make a real impact.

Their aim through their economic development projects is to create jobs, educate, generate and nurture enterprise development, and further social stability through community development in the communities with which they are involved.

Requirements:

Degree in Social Sciences and / or Development Studies.
Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in Economic Development related field of which 2 years must be within the South African Renewables Industry.
3 years supervisory or management level experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of The South African Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme.
