POSITION INFO:
A prestigious, modern, and patient-centered dental practice in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dentist to join their dynamic team. This luxury, digital-forward practice specialises in advanced techniques such as Digital Smile Design (DSD), implants, and Invisalign, offering the ideal environment for a professional looking to enhance their career in a cutting-edge setting.
Ideal Starting Date: 1 February 2026
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Studies (BDS/BChD) from an accredited institution
- Licensure: Valid dental license registered with HPCSA and current malpractice insurance
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in private practice, proficient in general and advanced dentistry
- Skills & Approach: Ability and willingness to follow high clinical standards, replicate techniques accurately, active listening, effective communication, initiative, continuous improvement, ownership, and adaptability to new technologies
Technical Skills & Software:
- Digital Patient Management Systems: Experience or willingness to learn digital patient management
- Invisalign Software: Familiarity with Invisalign treatment software
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
Training & Mentorship:
- Training provided for specific software and advanced techniques, including Digital Smile Design
- Access to guidance and mentorship from seasoned clinicians
Work Environment:

Procedures & Scope of Work:
- Examinations and diagnoses
- Cleanings and preventive care
- Fillings, extractions (including wisdom teeth), crowns, and bridges
- Implants and restorative procedures
- Invisalign treatment
- Please note: Root canals are not performed at this practice
Remuneration & Hours:
- Commission-based (45% less VAT and certain costs)
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 13:00
