SUMMARY:
Receiving / Driver (code 10 & PDP)

Our client in the galvanizing industry is on a recruitment drive for a code 10 driver (PDP), who has experience in building / construction / steel industry with receiving knowledge and understanding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving Duties:
• Ensure that the vehicle is in good working condition at all times, including license, tyres, and general representation of vehicle
• Collection of steel from a variety of clients in and around George
• Ensure that all collection's received are accurate and counted / weighted prior to loading
• Delivery to yard for preparation of Cape Town trips
• Receiving:
• Arrange for delivery of steel by various clients 
• Assist with off-loading and weighing of the product
• Issue the clients with the required administrative documents
• Ensure all documentation is completed properly for the Cape Town team on all galvanizing requirements
• Assist with any other ad hoc duties as required on 

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Code 10 Driver's license & valid PDP
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Basic computer literacy
• Good numerical skills
• Preferred matric but not essential
• 3 years in a similar role
• Forklift license added advantage
