SUMMARY:

Looking for a skilled Driver Code 14 with PrDP – DGP to safely transport goods using MAN trucks. Minimum 5 years' experience required. - Spartan Kempton Park

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose
To safely and efficiently transport goods using Code 14 vehicles, ensuring on-time deliveries, compliance with road regulations, and adherence to company safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Code 14 driver’s licence
Valid PrDP – DGP (Dangerous Goods Permit)
Minimum 5 years’ proven driving experience
Minimum 5 years MAN truck driving experience (non-negotiable)
Clear criminal record
Medically fit and sober habits
Good knowledge of South African road traffic laws
Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities

Operate Code 14 MAN trucks safely and responsibly
Transport goods to designated locations according to delivery schedules
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs
Ensure loads are correctly secured and comply with dangerous goods regulations
Complete delivery documentation accurately and on time
Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and traffic legislation
Maintain cleanliness and good condition of assigned vehicle
Report incidents, accidents, or delays immediately
