Drilling Supervisor 6 months contract

SUMMARY:
Supervise daily drilling, production related testing and associated on-site engineering operations of the exploration drilling campaign and report thereon.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• 5 years exploration experience
• 5 years managerial experience
• Professional Regristration
• Bachelors in Geology or equivalent

Key Perfomance Areas:

Test & Measurement

• Conducting flow test and daily inspections thereof
  

On-site exploration drilling supervision

• Identification of any risks or challenges to drilling activity especially those risks associated with trajectory changes and additional cost/time implications;

• Drilling both percussion and rotary wells to a depth of 1500m at an incline

Post drilling monitoring

 Prepare updated , completed well schematics;

• Implement exploration well maintenance and repair plan including checking for fugitive leaks, fluid levels, corrosion, damaged casing etc;
