SUMMARY:
Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings and models that support engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing while ensuring designs meet quality and production standards.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and 3D solid models.
Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation in line with company standards.
Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers to ensure effective integration and cable routing.
Support prototype builds, testing, and design improvements through engineering feedback.
Ensure drawings are technically accurate and manufacturing-ready.
Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).
Update production drawings and incorporate engineering changes.
Deliver assigned projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
Stay current with new technologies and industry developments.

Minimum Requirements

2 to 6 years draughting experience within the Automotive, Defence, Heavy Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
Professional Draughting qualification or equivalent.
Experience in a military vehicle environment will be advantageous.
Proficient in SolidWorks, OnShape or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience using Siemens Teamcenter or another PDM system.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
