Well established manufacturing concern is seeking a Draughtsman to perform the following:
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
- Design and develop mechanical and/or electrical systems for solvent recycling and recovery solutions.
- Use AutoCAD Inventor / CAD software to create detailed 2D/3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
- Evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
Project Management
- Lead design projects from concept to final production while adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Maintain clear documentation for all design processes and modifications.
- Report progress and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in sustainable design and environmental engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience in a design engineering role, preferably in the environmental or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost management.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and eco-design practices is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
