Draughts Person (Mechanical)

SUMMARY:
An established and highly respected Engineering Consulting Company, renowned for delivering innovative HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Wet Services, Energy Efficiency, and Water Efficiency solutions to the building services industry, is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Draughts Person to join its dynamic Durban-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with Revit MEP Certification (or a higher qualification) and 1–3+ years of building services or infrastructure experience to further develop their technical expertise while contributing to a diverse range of exciting and sustainable engineering projects.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce concept, tender and technical mechanical engineering drawings for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers etc.
Interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering team and other project stakeholders
Draughting support services to construction team and clients
Work office hours in collaborative team - opportunity to learn from senior team members

Desired Experience and Qualifications
Matric and Revit MEP/AutoCAD Certification 
Draughting diploma advantageous
Building Service experience highly recommended
0-3+ years' mechanical draughting experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
Revit and AutoCAD knowledge essential
Innovative and detail-orientated 
Strong coordination skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, team player
