Draughtman – Cabinetry & Joinery

SUMMARY:
Renown manufacturer of luxury home fit-outs and mobile home designs , has an opportunity for an experienced draughtsman.

POSITION INFO:
Renown manufacturer in Cape Town, who specialises in luxury home fit-outs and mobile home interior designs, is seeking a well experienced draughtman to join their cabinetry team in the Joinery department. In this role you will be the draughtsman responsible for 2D drawings, manufacturing drawings and drawings for assembly. Cutting list, material selection and hardware schedules will also be your responsibility, and you will liaise and participate closely with the New Product Development team.
You will be held accountable for outstanding quality in your work.
 
Requirements:
National Diploma or Certificate in Draughting, Industrial Design, Woodwork design or relevant
Proven experience in relevant field  - joinery, furniture, cabinetry, luxury home or mobile-home fit-outs.
Proven experience in creating cutting lists.
Proficient in Rhino
Knowledge and experience of laminates, , plywood, composites, veneers, and timber
