POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Supervise daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Coordinate loading and offloading of vehicles in line with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor and manage dispatch staff performance, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, delivery notes, and stock movement logs.
• Liaise with internal departments (production, sales, logistics) to align dispatch plans with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Investigate and resolve any delivery discrepancies, delays, or customer complaints.
• Lead, train and monitor staff 
• Optimize dispatch routes and schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory control.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric (a logistics or supply chain qualification is advantageous).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a dispatch or logistics supervisory role (manufacturing environment preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and transport coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with transport management systems
