Dispatch Clerk

SUMMARY:
A leading clothing supplier based in Verulam is looking for a dependable and efficient Dispatch Clerk to join their warehousing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing outbound stock, ensuring timely dispatch, and maintaining accurate records of all outgoing deliveries.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process dispatch documentation including delivery notes and waybills
• Coordinate with drivers, couriers, and logistics teams for timely dispatch
• Ensure correct stock is picked, packed, and ready for dispatch
• Update dispatch records and maintain filing systems
• Conduct final checks of orders before leaving the warehouse
• Communicate with internal departments regarding delivery requirements
• Assist with stock control and inventory management when needed
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a dispatch, logistics, or warehouse clerk role
• Good understanding of dispatch and delivery processes
• Computer literate (experience with dispatch or warehouse management systems is a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure
