Digital Marketer: S/Sub

R13 000 – R16 000 P/M

Established and Reputable Information Technology Provider is offering this lucrative career opportunity to form part of their dynamic team of young professionals and further develop their career.

This role will support and report into the Marketing Director.

One would describe you as a highly organised, self-motivated, articulate and detail-orientated individual who has strong administration, content writing and proofreading skills and comes with natural creative flair!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and executes all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build, and maintain the social media presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Qualification, Skills & Experience Required

  • Matric and relevant Digital Marketing / related qualification
  • 2-3 Years marketing skills ideally gained within the Information Technology or Publishing or related arena
  • Experience gained within Adobe Suite product experience i.e., Photoshop, Indesign, or similar
  • Proficient in market research and statistical analysis
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  •  
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license
  • Stable track record essential!
