Qualification and Experience

A relevant tertiary qualification in Multimedia/ journalism or any related fields is an advantage
3 - 5 years of recent experience in digital content curation
Exposure in Telecoms/ICT /OTT, e- commerce or media and entertainment industries
Social media experience is advantageous

Key Requirements

Passionate about Africa and African content, from education to music to gaming
Community minded, interested in building communities
Good knowledge of the content industry in Africa
Good knowledge of written English to a high level with excellent grammatical skills
Ability to interpret analytics and data to improve content offering
Ability to edit and curate written content
Knowledge of market trends for content in Africa
Team player
Previous experience of content licensing is advantageous
Previous experience of CMS operation is advantageous
French or an African language is advantageous
Ability to work to KPIs for achievement of goals with regard to growth of the user base, and various related targets
