SUMMARY:
A company based in Pretoria is looking for a qualified Diesel Technicians/Mechanic to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines and connecting systems.
Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks.
Work collaboratively with other staff and team members.
Keep accurate records of service and maintenance tasks.
Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards is achieved.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualified Diesel Technician (Red Seal/Trade Test Certificate).
Proven experience working as a Diesel Technician.
Knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
Valid South African driver’s license.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills.
Good communication skills.
Be able to work in a team and independently.
Excellent attention to detail.
Adequate knowledge of safety standards.
Willingness to work on stand by and overtime.
