Diesel Technician (Yellow Machinery), Middelburg
POSITION INFO:
Our client, a respected leader in the yellow machinery industry, is looking for a qualified Diesel Technician to join their dynamic team in Middelburg, MP. This is a great opportunity to be part of a reputable brand supplying high-performance equipment to South Africa’s construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty earthmoving machinery
- Conduct fault-finding and preventative maintenance
- Perform workshop and field service duties as required
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet company and safety standards
- Accurately complete job cards and service reports
- Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognised Diesel Mechanic trade qualification (Red Seal preferred)
- Proven experience working on heavy-duty earthmoving machinery
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair capabilities
- Ability to work independently in both field service and workshop environments
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety
- A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
