Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 17:00
• Overtime or incentive-based additional hours may be discussed depending on the successful candidate's experience and capabilities.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a recognised trade qualification.
• Previous experience working on agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, or diesel-powered vehicles.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to perform mechanical repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel fuel systems.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain diesel engines and agricultural machinery.
• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on tractors, harvesters, implements, and other farming equipment.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Conduct fault-finding and identify mechanical failures efficiently.
• Replace and repair worn or damaged components.
• Test machinery after repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and a clean, safe working environment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when required.
• Assist with planning and scheduling maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
• Identify potential issues before they result in major mechanical failures.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Provide technical advice and support where required.
• Work collaboratively with workshop staff and management to ensure operational efficiency.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
