SUMMARY:
An established company based in Ballito is seeking a Retired or Semi-Retired Diesel Mechanic to assist with the day-to-day operations of their workshop and warehouse.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to get quotes for new spares.
Book transport collections.
Oversea workshop staff (mainly general workers).
General housekeeping ensuring all tooling is stored when not in use.
Overseeing offloading of containers.
Checking of all new stock before washing and painting.
Ensuring all stock is marked correctly and palletized.
Handling despatch of goods to customers.
Ability to deal with a customer while they are in our warehouse.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a diesel mechanical/workshop environment.
Practical and hands-on approach.
Good organisational skills.
Able to oversee general workers and workshop activities.
Comfortable interacting with customers and suppliers.
Reliable, responsible and able to work independently.
Looking for part-time work to supplement their income.
